Neem Oil is a botanical oil, extracted from seeds and kernels of Neem Tree (Azadirachta indica), a member of the Meliaceae family, a botanical cousin of mahogany, by crushing. Neem Oil or Neem Seed Oil is a brownish Yellow color Liquid, with smell of a Garlic. Neem Oil is slightly soluble in water and have 6.5 to 7.5 Ph value, it boils at more than 200 degree Celsius and freeze at 13 degree Celsius.

| If categorised there are basically three types of Neem oil commercially available |
1. Cold Pressed Neem Oil: Neem kernel used for cold expelling are expelled by simple expeller, without any control on
temperature or at most it is maintained untill 50 degree Celsius, that may result in loss of some important volatile ingredients. Generally filtration is done by filter bags, and Azadirachtin content in cold expelled Neem oil is 800 to 1500 ppm. |
| 2. Solvent Extracted Neem Oil: To extract Neem oil in this process, whole Neem seed is used, seed is grinned and pulverized for porosity. Neem oil manufacturers generally use Hexane as solvent and almost 100% Neem oil is recovered. After Filtration, done by filter system Neem oil is stored in tanks. This type of Neem oil have Azadirachtin in concentration of 1000-2000 PPM. |
| 3. CT Pressed Neem Oil: This is the latest technology used to extract Neem oil without losing any of the vital organic chemical or ingredient. In this technology chillers are used so that temperature is well controlled while crushing and expelling Neem oil from Kernels or Seeds. At present we are the only manufacturer using this technology world wide. |
